HOUSTON, July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AQZ Charity Foundation hosted their annual gala Sunday July 26th at the Hilton Houston Westchase Hotel to raise money for children born with congenital heart disease in rural China. The American division of the Chinese Foundation started in Beijing in 2012 was founded by Dr. Jianwei Feng of the Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute and Dr. Zheng Qu of BQZ Charity Foundation.

Three performing artists from China visited Houston over the weekend to raise funds for the AQZ Charity Foundation (AQZ), an organization dedicated to help economically disadvantaged Chinese children with congenial heart disease.

AQZ Charity Foundation (AQZ), a group dedicated to helping children with congenital heart disease from poor families in China, was launched in Houston on Wednesday night. 

AQZ is a branch of Beijing Qu Zheng Charity Foundation (BQZ), a Chinese charity founded by Dr Qu Zheng, vice-president of China Meitan General Hosptial and former visiting professor at the Texas Heart Institute.

While Gao is the current gold medal senior citizen champion in local, state, national and international table tennis championships for his age group, he's lucky to be alive.
